Whilst visiting Portmagee, why not try this fine seafood café. Fresh from the port, the seafood Smugglers Café offers varies from boat-caught fish, Oysters and Mussels, Lobster, Crab and Crayfish or Scallops. But, if seafood doesn’t quite tempt you, you could order one of their poultry, meat or veggie dishes. Lunch is served from 12noon-5pm, when the café closes – which gives you ample of time to sit, relax and enjoy their food. Additionally, Smugglers Café offers a breakfast menu that begins at 8:30am-11:30am, which offers porridge, yogurts, pastries or full-breakfasts.
The Puffin Café
This sweet café offers the beautiful scenery of Long Strand and its ethos is ‘to be an amenity for this stunning beach, bringing people together with food, art & music.’This lovely little café simply offers alcoholic beverages and pizza – what a perfect place to meet with friends in a great location with a great menu! Furthermore, this café offers accommodation named ‘Puffin’s Nests Cottages’ where you can take the opportunity to relax, take in the country air and enjoy the gorgeous scenery! A perfect opportunity to be by the sea.
CafeSIVEEN
For a more chic option, try CafeSIVEEN, which offers your usual café goodies, such as cakes, scones and even soups. Furthermore, CafeSIVEEN offers a vegan range for those who want to enjoy some delicious goods. This quirky café also offers a takeaway service, so you can carry some sandwiches, beverages or even cakes with you whilst you explore Portmagee or whilst you simply enjoy the beautiful views!
Petit Delic
Receiving a whopping five stars on Trip Advisor, this little café gives Portmagee a delicious French twist. From 9am to 6pm, Petit Delic offers a range of French pastries such as croissants and pain du chocolat, handmade cakes and a various hot and cold drinks. They also offer breakfast, brunchand lunch to fill your boots with, including vegetarian options. They offer a warm atmosphere and takeaway!
