We had a fabulous time over the weekend, rooms are superb, spotlessly clean and the food was amazing. We were made so welcome by all the staff. Thank you for a great stay. Excellent location with stunning views.

From communication with front of house to the excellence of the cuisine and the attention to room servicing , was all excellent. Henry went out of his way to prepare sea food medley's on two nights. As I said at the time, it was like eating heaven!

Great hospitality, great food and great facilities, a wonderful stay, will come up with an excuse to go back soon.

The property is caught for space, huge opportunity to have a bar / pub facing the wild Atlantic.

Gillian and Ursula were extremely accommodating, polite and friendly. The Bartender from Greece was exceptional as well The food at Smugglers is simply outstanding!! We also loved dining under the dome!!

Jillion greeted us when we arrived she certainly knows how to greet people she was certainly excellent in all her tasks, All of the staff were so nice and very polite and well trained, so we have no complaints whatsoever. So a big thank you. Paul/Mary Small . We will be back again and we will recommend to our friends..

Gillian was so friendly and welcoming. Rooms were cosy and homely. Food was delicious and the breakfast was the best we've ever had. Definitely going to try and get back sometime with a bigger group of friends.

All the staff were were very friendly and helpful. Especially Gillian, who made special accommodations to make our stay great! (And she's cute!)

We enjoyed all aspects of our stay at Smugglers Inn. Our room was lovely and had a view of the ocean. We sat in the upstairs lounge and enjoyed an afternoon of reading. We had drinks in the bar both evenings we were there and enjoyed the quaintness of the bar. We also ate dinner there the first night of our stay. It was OUTSTANDING. One of the best meals we’ve all had in recent memory. We all enjoyed several long walks on the beautiful beach. Finally, the staff. Every single person we encountered was beyond friendly and accommodating. Smugglers Inn is truly a gem and we loved spending 2 nights there.

Very friendly staff. Beautiful location and comfortable rooms. Outstanding food! Dinner was one of the best meals I have had in Ireland.

The Smugglers Inn is right next door to Waterville Golf Club and a 2 minute drive from the town of Waterville. Overlooking the Atlantic ocean the hotel is a in a wonderful location - assuming you are going to be in that area - because it's a long, long drive from Belfast! Like all these experiences they are all about the people you meet. Gillian, thank you, you're a star. We were very well looked after by the wonderful staff at Smugglers those we met like Tomas, Urusla, Marketa, Anna and Charlie - and those we didn't meet like the kitchen staff (the food is excellent) and housekeeping - if I've spelled any of those names wrong, please forgive me. Five star staff!

The location, the view, the lady at the front desk, breakfast, the chance to store and dry wet kit, the room.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
A little disappointed with the slightly less than interested waiter at supper time (the food was delicious). Bath water didn’t drain.
