Everything. The stunning location, excellent restaurant and gorgeous, comfortable room. We were so impressed by our meal there from start to finish. Breakfast fab too! Staff were fantastic - so welcoming and helpful.

Super location for Waterville golf and village . Food - breakfast and dinner were excellent and staff very friendly especially Daragh . Wonderful with customers .

En-suite was very tight . Sink with over shelf difficult to use .

The weather was Horrible but the Hotel Fabulous. Lovely Staff, comfortable room and great food.

Everything! The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The food is absolutely fantastic. We ate here both nights and loved every bite. Wonderful setting, Smugglers has it all. We will definately be back again. Thanks so much

Gillian on reception was fantastic, even lending us hi visibility jackets from her own house so that we could safely walk from the village after dark.

What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
Location is superb. Accommodation was wonderful. Very comfortable warm room very modern with a very nice bathroom and shower. Amazing view of the sea from our bedroom. Had a great nights sleep a very peaceful hotel. We really enjoyed our few drinks in the sitting room upstairs very tranquil. Food was top class and of course service was excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection with beautiful flavours going through everything and desserts were outstanding homemade very different. Breakfast the next morning was very tasty very generous the porridge with the soaked prunes was number one. Compliments to the chef for running a great kitchen with top class food.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
If I were to be totally honest the only thing I would criticise is things are a bit over priced. With the drinks in bar and the food in the restaurant. I know from working in business myself you have to take into consideration energy costs and all other costs staff ect. But the costumer coming in has only a certain amount to spend. I hope you will not take my comment as an insult as it is just my personal opinion as I love the smugglers hotel with top class food and service and super location all year round.

The entire Inn is magical. The location, rooms, view, and Michelin-worthy restaurant were all phenomenal The staff were all lovely! We are looking forward to returning!!! 10 stars out of 5!!!!

Staff was super friendly en welcoming. Room was small (cosy) but clean and nicely decorated. The sea view from the room was wonderful. Food was good so overall great stay.

All staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The standard of housekeeping in the room and bathroom was 5 star standard. Loved how cosy the bar was and of course we must mention the toilets. They have to be experienced.

Only nitpicking here but would have liked tissues and cotton pads in the bathroom

Location is amazing - beach / sea views .. perfect for a walk on the beach after dinner (amazing) .. and the sound of the water is the perfect way to fall asleep
